Our Story
YTPshop is an African-inspired clothing brand designed in the US and handmade in Nigeria. The brand celebrates the African heritage and adorns confident women with bold aesthetics and colors.
All YTPshop products are ethically handmade by female artisans in Nigeria and the prints are sourced from West African markets.
Since founding YTPshop in 2017, we have been featured in several publications and fashion shows across North America.

Our Founder
Nigerian-born and USA-based, Yinka Taiwo-Peters founded YTPshop with no formal fashion training and with only $200. As the demand for authentic African-inspired fashion grows globally,
Yinka combines her extensive technology experience with her business training to support YTPshop's network of female artisans that handcraft each piece under fair trade practices in Nigeria.
When she is not designing for YTPshop, Yinka is also a Product Manager in tech. Yinka has an MBA from The Wharton School, MPH from Yale University, and Bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University.
